I could see this being kind of cool if they shut the lights off in the stadium when the team runs out or coming down a dark tunnel to the field?

Other than that, I dunno lol

Cutting the lights and running onto the field would look pretty cool.

Just awful. They're trying a little too hard IMO. If this is the latest idea, then they're running out of ideas.

How often do teams play in the dark?

Complete darkness sounds like a recipe for real serious injuries, not only for players but grandma trying to walk up a flight of unlit concrete steps.

Cutting the lights and running onto the field would look pretty cool.

Even if they cut off all the lights it's likely you'd barely see those things glowing from the stands.

yes, Gunner, but it may well help to add still another College Football National Championship trophy to their vast collection....oh wait.....never mind.....

Yes, Oregon doesn't have any national championships in football. Duck fans know this, the football program is still in the "building" phase. The goal is to just keep getting closer till we achieve that first national championship in football.

To imply that Oregon doesn't have any experience as a national champion is a little bit of a stretch. Four SEC teams (Arkansas, Florida, LSU and Georgia) have more NCAA national championships than Oregon and four PAC-12 teams (UCLA, USC, Stanford and Cal) have more NCAA National Championships.

Oregon sits at #19 for most NCAA National Championships with a total of 27. Don't get me wrong, we know we still have a lot to prove. And we have plenty of "unmet" goals at this time.

Congratulations to all of those who have won National Championships in football, hopefully will join that group in the near future.

Wish all the Vol fans a good season this year.

...and if you played in the dark, why would you want the other team to know were you are?

I'm curious about the "playing" benefit of the reflective uniforms as well. Only thing I can possibly think of is when a receiver goes from a sunny part of the field to an area that's in the shade it may make it easier to see them. Other than that, it's all marketing and being cool, and that's good as well.
