Just got the email:

Key Elements of the 2024 Parking Model

Quantity of Parking Passes:

  • Parking eligibility and number of passes eligible to request will be based on quantity of season tickets as detailed below (pending inventory).

Parking Pass Allocation:
  • In the past, we used annual parking priority, by levels, this will no longer exist.
  • Accounts with four plus (4+) non-premium season tickets and accounts with less than four (4) non-premium season tickets BUT with a top 1,000 donor rank will be able to request a parking pass in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 location, in donor rank order.
  • Season ticket holders with less than four (4) non-premium season tickets will be able to request a pass in a Tier 2 parking location.
  • All lot "tiers" are subject to change annually, but the 2024 initial parking tiers include the following:
    • TIER 1: Circle Park, 9, 9B, C15, G5/30, C8, 30A, G10, G10T, G3, G1, G4, 7A, 23B, G16, 22, RecSports, 25, 11th St. Garage, C21 White Avenue
    • TIER 2: G17, AG Campus, Lot 14, Locust St. Garage, Lot 40, UT Creamery
  • TOP 1,000 RANK: If a donor has less than four (4) non-premium season tickets and is ranked in top 1,000 donor rank, they will be eligible to request parking in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 location.
  • Your current account donor rank is: 14323
Three-Year Parking Lock:
  • This new model for parking pass allocation process will begin in 2024. Additionally, starting with the 2025 parking pass allocation process, parking locations will be locked-in for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 football seasons. A donor will only “renew” their respective parking pass(s) for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. They will not select a new lot.
For more information on the new parking model, please click the button below.
Looking for opportunities to improve your donor rank?

Under the new parking model, donor rank becomes even more important. As we prepare for this change in 2024, we wanted to make you aware of philanthropic giving opportunities to potentially improve your donor rank. Please keep in mind that donations do not guarantee parking locations; however, improving your donor rank can potentially expand your parking options. All philanthropic donations are 100% tax-deductible and will increase your donor points!
We understand this is a new process for all season ticket holders, and we are happy to answer any questions that you may have. Our department will be working on contacting all impacted accounts over the next few months to talk through changes. With that said, we anticipate the call volume may be high during this transition. To schedule a call with a Tennessee Athletics representative at a time of your choosing, please click here.

I got it too. Not sure who wrote this but it is very hard to understand. Especially the part in the chart, it states people with 4-7 non premium seats may request 1 parking pass which would seem to indicate if you have 2 non premium seats you could not request a parking pass. Then you read further and it states if you have less than 4 non premium seats you may request a Tier 2 parking pass. Maybe the chart is referring to Tier 1 parking but it is not clear.

Before I retired I wrote numerous memos explaining complicated situations such as this and I realize it is difficult to write clear and concise information. However, they need to do better.

Yes, Confusing email. My number is higher than anyone that got a parking pass this season so it doesn’t like i can get one next year. I’m a new season ticket holder and didn’t request a parking pass for this year. I bought a Lot 14 pass for tomorrow as a trial run. Hoping it doesn’t take hours to get out of the lot and to the interstate.

Have had G10 parking for 40 years. Gone; parking on the ag campus or across the river next year

Mom's pissed

Good luck adding seats to get to 4 if we have another good season… ain’t happening. Guess I’m stuck with 2 seats and 1 crappy parking pass.

No parking for me in a lot next year - I'll actually save money though. Just have to park a distance away and either walk or walk to where one of the buses pick folks up at.

And I bet they have spaces left over as I have never had trouble getting a parking pass and I only have 2 tickets and am not in the top 1000 in donor rank.

If I'm reading it correctly (which is up for debate), it's more likely you're stuck with 2 seats and no parking pass.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I wrote a reply above but as I was writing I thought am I the only one who thinks this is confusing as hell. Especially for people who have 2 seats.

NM, I think I read it wrong. I think even if you have 2 season tickets you can still order parking passes, just labeled differently
