Good to see. I feel like we know Darnell can be a first round talent, but we haven’t talked about it a ton here.

28. CINCINNATI BENGALS: OT DARNELL WRIGHT, TENNESSEE
The Bengals are one of the more complete teams in the NFL, outside of their offensive tackle spot being a bit of a letdown this season. If they can take a chance on a tackle at the back end of the first round, it would be well worth it. Wright played this past season at right tackle for the Vols, and he did so with a ton of power, weighing in at 335 pounds. He’s not just a bruiser, either, with just three pressures allowed on 93 pass sets this season.

2023 NFL Mock Draft: Bryce Young goes to Houston Texans at No. 1, Carolina Panthers go QB at No. 8 | NFL Draft | PFF

Living here in Cinti will make it easy for me to follow DWright if he falls to the Bengals.

They need him or someone to anchor LT as the Bama draft pick, Jonah Williams, is the weakest link protecting Joe Brrrrr's blindside.
Im not confident that he won't play RT. Collins has had a hard time staying healthy and now he has to recover from a torn ACL and MCL

Hopefully as the years go on, CJH can pack the NFL full of talent from our program. It's rewarding as a fan to see our guys make it to the league and be successful!!!

GO VOLS!! and congratz to all the guys that get drafted from The University of Tennessee!!!

I still don't understand the projections for Levis or Richardson. I get the physical talent but both of them made poor decisions pretty consistently.

Josh Allen "broke the rule" and performed better than his college years suggested because his talent translated well to the NFL... so now everyone can do it? Allen played on a lower level team without NFL caliber WRs or NFL caliber DBs in opposition. Levis and Richardson both had high end receivers and played against high end opposition... which exposed them constantly.

I wouldn't touch either one of them.

Will Levis sucks, and Richardson has not done much of anything.

Really interesting seeing Jared Verse at number 6 out of Florida State. If I remember correctly, his transfer decision came down to TN and FSU. What would our defense have looked like with him lining up on the outside rush?

It would have been better. Not good enough to bear Georgia, probably wouldn't have changed the USCjr game.

I just cant see Young being a 1st pick. Hes nowhere near the impact player that Barnett was (who was our last high pick DE).
Age, P{otential and Pedigree.. There is a reason Young and Levis are rated ahead of Stroud.Teams are looking for high ceiling. Stroud Probably has the highest floor of any of the QB's but he is not mobile and if you're a team with a suspect Oline someone like Young makes one salivate. Levis is the prototype QB he does not have the production but he played running for his life... Barnett is not a good example because (not his fault) he hasn't had a huge impact in the NFL because of injuries. All the most successful UT players in the NFL we sleepers.. UDFA's and mid round picks.

I think this mock draft has Wright projected a bit high because honestly, he is gonna be a RT at the next level. As cool as being drafted high sounds I'd much rather our guys go mid round UDFA to not desperate teams. Imagine if Alvin Kamara went like the first round to a team like Detroit...how much different is his career? he went mid round to a team that wanted him and had a role for him and he ran with it literally. Went from RB by committee to the workhorse.

There's always "sleepers" or hidden gems lurking in the shadows. T. Brady is the most notable. Of late I like T. Hienicke of the commanders from Old Dominion and D.Jones, (NY Giants), from Duke. Like you, I'd steer clear of both Levis and Richardson. To top it all off Desean Watson has a $250 mil contract. Dang sure defies logic imo. I'm all for incentive-based contracts which ensures a team that the player earns his money, more or less.

I watch very, very little NFL. I despise that the league did not take a strong stand against kneeling. But really I stopped watching after the last strike. The game they play doesn't entertain me nearly as much as the college game does.

Because I like Dobbs, I watched more of the Titans game last night than I have watched any game in a long time... I flipped back and forth from the bowl game. Being in MO, I'm surrounded by Chiefs fans. I actually like their management and Mahomes... Still don't enjoy it enough to make a point to watch it.

I think I started losing interest when the NFL started working hard to create parity many years ago. Parity is boring. Having games decided on a handful of plays is boring to me... they're basically "too good". Last night they threw up a graphic showing the odds of winning the Super Bowl. No team had more than a 20% chance. I know and respect that that appeals to some people. It doesn't appeal to me.
