Just lay this down to pre-football time in Tennessee , musing. It seems, just seems, that USCw and Tennessee might have a budding and unique relationship. They took a Butch Ol-man from us a while back. Since then, it seems, we have had some of the USC players coming to Tennessee. Lately, Trojans have been portal-ing out on the great Lincoln Riley. Got me thinking we might see more USC players coming to Rockytop. We even got one from Oregon. With the conference realignment, I'm wondering if we end of getting ex-PAC players preferring the green hills of the Volunteer state. Especially, Trojans. I think another reason I'd like to see this happen is that I always wanted to see more big bodies Polynesian guys on our team. West coast teams seem to get a pretty good batch of these guys annually.

I've been dreaming strange dreams, strange dreams under an alien sun;
Of strange things, strange things, hinting of what may have already begun.
Whether due to the N-I-L;
Or the orange's native appeal;
Of a form of legal thievery.
Strange dreams come unto me.
Sure, I may be certifiably nuts, but HEY!
They allow stealing in baseball, don't they?
I've been dreaming strange dreams, strange dreams under an alien sun;
Of strange things, strange things, hinting of what may have already begun.

For the real dizzy stuff, the best you ever tried, look for the green bulbs found on the Southwestern pride.

99.9% of people in this world DO NOT need to eat peyote/mescaline, unless you're trying to create a pipeline to the funny farm or your homeland.

Yes, soul searching and mind expansion is great from some, but most people aren't equipped for that kind of long look in the cosmic mirror. Heck, most people cant even handle a little toke from the devil's lettuce, much less concentrated psychotropics.

Don't forget those who get mind warped by pseudo-religious, fringe politics, and new age mumbo jumbo. Not all drugs are physical substances.
Umm, ooooommm, one thing, you shouldn't take me too seriously, I certainly don't.

So "musing" is what they call it these days.
I'll ignore the obvious Depeche Mode response and like a good Boomer go straight to the good musical responses (in chronological order):

I never take you too seriously. I have made a livelihood off fungi on our indoor environment (mold contamination issues). The study of fungi are near and dear to my heart. I just think its ironic you lept from someone insinuating you poke too much smot to entering the 4th dimension on an electric slip and slide.

Also I suspect more Polynesians will consider play with Nico based on his family's experience in Knoxville. I would assume it goes back to being an every once in a decade thing after he leaves (like after Mapu left). As far as ex-PAC players, if they get a chance to come play in the SEC, they would be fools not to consider it. There's always an exception, but that's where the best come to play. There's a reason NFL teams draft more SEC players than any other conference.

All that and rabbit stew.

Kids will also transfer out of TN too. With the transfer portal and NIL these players will always want:
- playing time
- NIL money

Secondary options:
- proximity to home/ family
- playing for a coach
- growing up as a fan with a school

100% of people should try it once.

USC will be just fine, they are just in a market where college football is not a huge deal (compared to the southeast or midwest) which is making it difficult to get the NIL thing going, there is a lot of competition for regional media attention there.

Their alumni have deep pockets, though, and they'll figure it out. Also, if they figure out how to play defense they'll be competing for natty's again.

Do you have data to back this up?

Would love to see more Polys here.

San Pedro area of LA high schools and surprisingly, Las Vegas has a high concentration of these folks as anfyi.
Yes, LV does. I used to hang out with some of them at the, uh, let me see, IIRC. Darn, can't recall, but it was one of those Station Casinos that had a bowling alley. I think it was Friday nights or Saturday nights. Big sonuvaguns, beautiful gals, quite friendly, and strong as h***. The guys again, IIRC, were very into chatting about spear fishing, which might explain their being Submariner or Aquaman strong and bulky. The gals I met were thickish, not fat, just thick, strong, and cute. I'd put money on them to beat some of the UT regular male students in an arm or even outright wrestling match. Our Lady Vols rowing, soccer, swimming, and softball teams would probably have been unstoppable if we had a bevy of the gals.

Polyamorous? Polygamists? Polyester?
I had a private audience with Ms. Raven Darkhölme to discuss the matter. She's an expert in this poly business thing. She assured me that people self-modify due to the aging process. Also, due to diet choices, physical modification due to SEC strength and conditioning programs' effects. Thus, the proper term to use would be polymorphism.
