Isn't it unusual for a lineman to hold the #1 spot? I am a little surprised. It is usually a QB or RB. This kid must be amazing. We need to find a way to get on his list.

I know stars dont' mean much and coaches evalutation is all that matters. But out of the top 25. How many does UT have a realistic chance to land.

The ratings are probably derivative of all the Spring combines. That that haven't faired well (Heaps) dropped or weren't rated. Speaking of Riggs, he had a really good combine at the Army Combine in San Antonio back in January. I know Scrogins won MVP at one out west a couple weeks ago. I think we really need to get on Scroggins.

I know Kiffin is trying to secure Heaps to make a statement. Once he's made his mind up there is no changing it. Former plays have said that about him. I hope his tunnel vision for Heaps doesn't hurt us on Scroggins.

Seantrel Henderson is that good. He's massive and he's one of the most athletic linemen ever.

My early thoughts

Joyner isn't the #1 DB? Something bad wrong there
Only 14 5*s? Ego got his though
Bad year for QBs. Sims is #1 at 58
I'm surprised Bible is ranked so low
Blake Bell took a nosedive.
So did Cobbs

Sims as the #1 QB is nothing more than fodder for the argument that Rivals puts WAY too much weight on which school a kid chooses. Even from the vids you can tell he isn't going to be half the player Heaps or Scroggins will be.

I think there may be some weight on the link between school choice and rivals ranking.

Notice that the DB who moved ahead of Joyner was an Alabama kid. Two straight years with a bama kid as the # 1 DB (Kirkpatrick last year) ???

We aren't even in the running for the top 9 guys. I'am a bit surpised by that but I think these rankings are way overrated.

Blake Bell had a bad showing at a camp recently which is why he dropped. I keep telling people the dude is crazy raw. He isn't going to be ready to play for awhile.
