Just because people don't mention him is not a reason to count him out. He's got a lot of improving to do but I think he's talented and if the work ethic is there, I wouldn't count him out just yet. We have several guys who are probably serviceable. But I would have thought Coach Barnes would have learned his lesson last year and made sure the roster has a darn good backup point guard. We'll see.....

The coaching staff must think he will since they didn't go hard after a PG from the portal, and there were a few good ones from which to choose. Another option will be to see if Mashack improves his ball handling during the off season.

Dilione will play some point. I like Dilione/Edwards , Vescovi and Knecht/Mashack .

We can bring scorers off the bench at guard in Jefferson, Carr, Gainey and Ziegler when healthy.

Play who you want at the 4 and 5. Dependent on matchups

Hard to say because we have about a dozen 6'4"-6'6" small forwards and shooting guards. Im leaving out JJJ because even if he comes back he will be hurt a lot. I'm leaving out Phillips because I think he is gone.

PG- ZZ, Edwards, Dilione
SG- Santi, Mashack, Dilione/Carr
SF- Knecht/Ledlum/Jefferson (who knows)
PF- Awaka, Cade Phillips (hope he is ready because we need the post depth)
C- Aidoo, Estrella (again, hope he is ready)

Thats a 13 man rotation. Theres no way Barnes plays a 13 man rotation, so a few of those 6'4"-6'6" guys are going to end up sitting. I doubt Awaka and Phillips will get major minutes at the 5 position, so those 4 post guys we have on the roster will have to play. Even if you go with a small lineup every night you'll probably need 3 of them to get minutes with fouls and what not.

If we can shoot next year, we can win with a small lineup...if we can shoot.
