Spending as a percentage of GDP is down, and going down.

What, you expected it all to be okay with the wave of a magic wand?

Going to take some time for us to get out of the tremendous hole created by the Republican administration and Republican Congresses that spent all that money and gave it to their buddies.

So the way to get out of that mess is by spending even MORE money and giving it to the Democrats' buddies? Makes sense.

Down? It's still greater than any year since 1945.

Also, you'll note in the article that the duration of this high % is unusual for recessions.

For all the talk about deficit reductions there has been zero action - actually, worse than zero action.

Gee and I thought the Democrats had control of the House, Senate, and White House for at least 2 years. But how could I forget that they never take responsibility for anything.

Going to take some time and a new direction for us to get out of the tremendous hole that the current administration is digging daily.

More accurate.
