There will be 3 segments in each race now and the winner will get 5 points in lieu of 3. The race will be stopped after each segment to interview the segment winner.🤔🤔😳😧👎
Sounds like the races will last longer now-probably 15 to 20 minutes. Doesn't feel that long.🤔
Drivers seem to like it. What's your thoughts?

I'll keep an open mind on things. I will say this, I don't think the races not being long enough was hurting them. My girlfriend isn't much of a race fan but she can sit down and generally enjoy a 1.5 hour F1 race. 3.5 hours of Nascar aren't jiving with her.

Stopping after every segment to interview the "winner" is beyond stupid.

The races are too long to begin with, this will just make it worse. They should be the length of the Xfinity Series (or whatever it's being called theses days).

This is the approach I'm taking to it. I like the ideas they've thrown out there. Not sure on interviewing segment winners but if it makes the entire race more interesting by issuing points for the top 10 I can sit through an interview.

Of course the drivers like it. If they come out publicly against it they will no doubt see their fair share of pit road speeding penalties.

I have no problem with awarding bonus points based on running order at various points throughout the race. I just think it's ridiculous and bush league to stop the race, interview the "winner", and have unnecessary restsrts.

It's pretty dumb to stop the race to interview. Races are already too long as it is. NASCAR needs to do mid week races, especially during football season
