You know our uniforms will never be black. However, there are alternate uniforms they make every year that are black. I actually have 2 of them and they are badass. Every year, the subject of black uniforms comes up in press conferences and Pearl always say that he doesn't like them and prefers to not wear them. He also always emphasizes that the school's primary color is orange, and I think he wishes we could wear orange at more home games.

On the other side, I think the black uniforms look awesome. I certainly wouldn't want to switch to them or anything, but use them for special games. For instance, it would be cool to wear black for the Pitt or UConn game this season. Not big rivals or anything with significant tradition, but big games nonetheless. Not to mention the players love the black unis.....they'll be really excited to wear them for maybe 1 or 2 games per season.

You want to guess what color the original football uniforms were till about the 30's?
