I've heard chatter in this area that a player from our high school made it on the team as a walk on. He has been out of school a year and put some weight on. Very strong for his size. Bench is over or around 300 lbs. Shifty player. I watched every game played during his high school career and we all figured he would atleast go to some mid major, but he was more focused on academics and didn't even pursue a football scholarship. He has been going to UT for a year now, but decided he would try and make the team as a walk on. He reminds me of Wes Welker.

I knew him personally and work ethic is not a problem with this young man. Attitude isn't either. He has his head on straight and I'm glad to see him give it a shot even if it ends up no more than a practice squad.

This is a bit old, but I'll post it anyway. He has trimmed the 40 time down to 4.5 and improved a lot of his technique. He's a workaholic in the weight room. 15 reps of just under 200 pounds. At that time he was only 160 lbs. I'm hearing he's more towards the mid to upper 170's now.

Will Molander did not walk onto the team.

He stood there and the team walked over to him.

I went to high school with this kid. Graduated two years ahead of him. Great kid with a great work ethic. Glad to see someone from my high school will be repping the Power T!

I saw his twitter being blown up with congrats. Saw it mentioned on coacht. Then I looked into it and was like well good for him. You're spot on about him. I was a year ahead of him and I agree with everything you said.

Yeah I heard some people at the golf course in Smithville talking about it. I noticed his twitter was blown up and talked to some of his friends. Hope he does well.

Glad ole Will is living his dream. Represent DeKalb County and UT well. Maybe he can get a shot in the return game. In HS he was deadly.

Watched this kid play a lot and seen him around the gym from time to time. His workout routine was always pretty insane. Hope he does well.
