They keep calling Gibril Wilson's name on every play.

Anyways, Carolina is getting all kinds of short yardage over the Giants. Steve Smith just caught a TD pass, 7-0 Carolina early in the 2nd.

Even though it doesn't show on the scoreboard, that was a dominating first half. NY has a lil over 50 total yds and the Panthers have been balanced and converting their 3rd down while controling the clock!

Looks like the Panthers' D is playing up to their capability. Figured they wouldn't have any problem in this game as long as they did that...

If Carolina plays to their potential all the way through the playoffs, they are a Superbowl team. Who knows whether that will happen though. New York is probably the weakest team in the playoffs.

They were still 11-5 though..they're hurting on D with injuries. NY rushing the ball worried me..but they only have 28 total yds so far! :devilsmoke:

Yeah, doesn't take much in the NFC, but when Carolina is on, they're hard to beat.

Eli looking good today!

Hmm, big game for Eli. 2 picks, 70 yards...maybe it is a family thing.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady is 10-0 in the playoffs and has a 14 to 3 TD to INT ratio in the postseason.

Peyton is 3-4, and sports a 14 to 8 ratio...can't wait until next weekend

First shutout of the home team in the playoffs in 26 yrs...great job D! :devilsmoke:

Did you see Archie Manning standing in that dark tunnel watching the game. I swear, I thought it was Lou Holtz. He looked just like "Granny" standing there with that cap pulled sown to his ears. Of course, I don't have HD.
