Some of you are such idiots. After all the ridicolous misfortune, poor charactor recruting, awful coaching hires, piss poor luck in big games (LSU, BAMA and UNC) how do you expect to be competitive in this conference immediately after losing all WRs, TE and QB while adopting a new system w all new coaches? Did some of you circle the Oregon game this year and say "yep, we got that? " Then Florida. "Yea! This is our year?" Stupid! We finally get a decent coach and all you want to do is bash the team and coaching staff that lost to two top 20 teams on the road. It makes no sense. I'm from PA and actually went to UT and since moved back and have never heard this amount of irrational BS from life long Pitt fans, Maryland fans, Temple fans or PSU fans. They have been down for years too. There isn't an abundance of irrational hate for the team they love. What is wrong with you? Do you know nothing about football? How were your expectations so high?

Are you that stupid you got your hopes
so high you were destroyed by losing on the road to top national teams? Sure, an upset can happen. However, huge upsets are rare. That's why they are such a big deal! I may be a Yankee but I'm alum and have to imagine that most of you who are talking more sh1t than our rivals haven't even stepped near a UT classroom. It's ok to be disappointed but some of you go way too far. Furthermore, these are kids. Freaking kids! Have you lost your freaking mind? Using words like hate and worthless...what have you done that's so great? You wear knock off jerseys and they wear the real thing. Also these kids would prob beat your stupid a$$. However, they will prob just sign an autograph when you ask for it. It's okay to be a fanatic but my god... Support the team win, lose or draw. Especially...ESPECIALLY!!!! When they had little to no chance from the inital kick off. Look I'm going to help the morons out: I'm not trying to start a mass sucide but we most likely wont beat Bama, Georgia, South Carolina, and another random team. If you bleed orange support the team you claim to love. moron....

We've now been a really bad program for the better part of a decade. People are tired of seeing a really poor product being put on the field year after year. There's nothing stupid about that...

we fuss because we care and love the university and are sick and tired of losing and seeing horrible play execution and calling.

The people you are referring to are probably the one's who felt it necessary to complain so much about Fulmer, that it influenced the A.D. to fire him.

Their thoughts were probably that any number of Hall of Fame coaches will be knocking down the door to come to U.T., once Fulmer is gone.

The only one that I am aware of who was knocking on the door was Kiffin.

The way that I look at it is that we are down and out. This situation reminds me ALOT of when Majors came to town. The cupard was bare. It took Majors every bit of ten seasons before he could get us with winning seasons, year in and year out. Sure there were seasons that Majors coached us to a winning season, but the next season we had a losing season.

bUTch will get us there eventually. One brick at a time though.

Look, we had what 13? seasons without a losing record. That is remarkable!!! Don't you think that at some point in time that we will have some down seasons also????

Just as we won games by a tad bit of luck being on our side, we now are losing with a tad bit of bad luck being on our side.

In the early 1990's, UGA came to town with a star running back, named Robert Edwards. He ran all over us in the first half and we were losing the game. Then in the 2nd half, he broke his ankle running out of bounds. By luck, we were able to win that game.

In 2008, against Arkansas, we were lucky that Clint Sterner fumbled the ball.

In 2008, Alabama had just tied the score with us. We were lucky that the one player that had an angle on Peerless Price on the kick-off slipped. Price ran over 90 yards for a T.D. We went on to win.

In the early 2000's, Foster fumbled the ball on the game winning drive against USC. Lo and Behold, J. McClendon fell on the fumble for a 10 yard gain and the first down. We retained possession and won.


In 2010, against UAB, we are playing poorly with Simms at q.b. UAB could have easily won the game with just one single field goal. However; their kicker missed 5 field goals through out the entire game. We won in O.T. with a pass from Simms to D. Moore.


Those are examples of good luck being on our side.

LSU, UNC, 2010, Bama 2009, Numerous bad breaks in most of our loses. A tipped ball. A player slips and misses a crucial tackle. Ball falls out of q.b.'s hand. Ref misses a call. Injuries to key players at the worse times.

Those are all examples of bad luck happening to us.

I don't sit around VN all the time so I don't see what all the post are. I just posted after reading a few forums that were all negative. Sorry I upset you all for loving UT.

I would agree with you except I've learned how to spot those people, realize they have no clue, don't read their post and move on....most are kids and have a lot of passion and very little discetnability.....,
