Didn't see this posted, sorry if I missed it. Merge if so...

Apparently, it was mutually agreed upon that Cecil wouldn't attend the game.

Despite contrary reports, Cecil Newton was at BCS title game - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports

It was announced before the game that he would not attend the game. Apparently cecil and $cam do whatever they want. Last night when the jet landed in montgomery, where was $cam? He was in LA . He doesn't care about au and the "family". He was a hired gun, there 3 months, and all this "family". and "all in" is just a bunch of crap.

Don't begrudge a father the chance to see his son in the biggest game of his life. Actually, I think he did a damn good job of not drawing attention to himself.

I heard on the radio that Auburn folks ushered him in after the game started so he could see his son play, then he was seen leaving about 15 min after the game. To me its not a big deal, I would be at my son's biggest game.

Hell at this point, why not let him go to the game. Let him take a limo and sit in the luxury boxes for all I care. The Newton's and Auburn are in deep stuff if found guilty, might as well let em ride it to the end.

Even after you pimped him out to the highest bidder?

Why stop there? They should have let him ref the game, or at least do the prayer and the coin flip. Of course, he probably would have pocketed the coin.

If they ushered him in and out, then they violated the NCAA's order that Cecil have limited access to the program.

It's not a big deal to me if he bought a ticket. It's a very big deal if Auburn had anything to do with him being there, or with his activities while there.

At this point, who cares? The NCAA decided to not enforce their own rules. There's no reason to bar him from watching his son play.
