Sen. Robert Casey (D., Pa.) and Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D., N.D.) are pushing legislation that would commit taxpayers’ dollars to bailing out the Teamsters’ retirement pension fund. The financial crisis and the Great Recession may have upset your retirement plans, but that’s not reason that politically connected union thugs have to share the pain.

So it would be covered by the PBGC who is already $20b in the red. So not only are we on the hook for the teamsters but also all other guaranteed pensions?

unions suck, especially one like the teamsters', which is run like a criminal enterprise.

I almost wish card check would pass, I would like nothing more than to take a whizz on the union signup card some stooge hands to me.

Obimama has eliminated the position of 'ethics czar' and sent that man to the Czech Republic, ethics is now handled by White House Counsel, a man who previously lobbied for the AFLCIO, Acorn and Sieu.

Didn't Barry say something about no lobbyists in his administration??

as if people aren't upset enough already, if tax payer $$$ are used to bail out the union there will be a major fall out within the D party.

This should have been solved 80 ish years ago with the creation of the Workers Bill of Rights that FDR sponsored.
