Hey all. I've been coming here for a long time but never created a name until now. The ESPNism is too North Carolina and Duke and it's impossible to talk or read about UT ball.

Anyways, here we come Athens!! I want to forget that Zaga game ASAP. If a trip to Phog Allen and a unbelievable home court winning streak comming to an end doesn't grow this team up than I don't know what will. What I hope to see....

1.) BETTER DEFENSE - Enough with the "Look what we just did" after a score and get back on defense. Control screens and stop leaving these guys wide open. Toughen up on the perimeter

2.) Hopson Progressing - Drive the ball. I've seen this kid play a lot and the sky is the limit. He would be feared if he would attack the rim. Very tough to guard and it would really open things up for the others. I hope he comes off the bench again.

3.) Negedu More Minutes - I keep hearing good things but lack of minutes keeps me in the dark. From what I've seen, I like a lot

4.) Beat Georgia! - The obvious. They are coming off 2 tough loses. I think we can easily contain Woodbury and Thompkins but I don't see us wearing this team down. Their bench is decent and deep. With not a lot of size, I don't see a problem in the lanes even with a zone.

Anyways, great site...

I see problems on the road for this team, no matter where it is. Until they learn defense is part of the game, nothing is going to come easy for them. I expect georgia to give us all we want, it wouldn't surprise me if georgia won.

Georgia may jump out early, they may lead at times in the second half. But anything other than at least a 10 point win will tell me that we may as well forget competing for an SEC Championship.

I think hatvol had it right when he picked us third in the east.

UGA should be no problem, uga sure has looked sluggish earlier this year, uga really is never a problem so UT should handle them and put a little more confidence back in this team. A good time to work on the defense part of the game too and we need more outside shooting.

If we lose to Georgia we might as well forfeit the rest of our games. No... seriously.

Plus Bruce is 6 for 6 against Georgia. Won't happen - if it does apocalypse is imminent.

Welcome , first and foremost .:hi:

Does georgia have a good point guard who can dictate the flow of the game ?

I would not be shocked if Georgia wins this game tommorow. Tennessee is not a very good basketball team right now, and really not very good on the road. Georgia is better than TEmple and look how that turned out and add on top of that the SEC preseason player of the year is not playing, what does all that add up to, a probable loss.

I have a question, who do we let have a career night?

That's hilarious. Georgia is not better than Temple. UGA has two players.

Hey smart guy, you know what is hilarious, Temple has one good player, yes one good player, so Georgia has two, meaning they are better. Your the one that is hilarious.

Actually - Georgia is worse than Temple. They are that bad.

We need more outside shooting? We need less outside shooting, and more attacking the basket.

The way we are playing, UGA will be a problem on the road, especially if Tyler doesn't play.

We need better outside "shooting," and fewer outside shots.

I don't know that attacking the basket is even much of an option until we force teams to guard us on the perimeter.

I go to UGA and I've seen first hand the suckiness of this team. Trey Thompkins is a good player, but is still a freshman and makes freshman mistakes (see Wofford game). Travis Leslie could turn into a good player but sometimes tries to do too much fancy stuff. Woodbury just came back from injury and has a good stroke from three, sometimes. Ware and Swansey aren't great PG's. Barnes and Price only score a few points a game combined and if Albert Jackson plays a lot of minutes, we win easily. One of the worst players in basketball history.

This is not a good team.

You may have said this in jest but realistically it speaks volumes.
