So how did things really change for the powers that be who pick the games?

Ole Miss and UGA both won
FL and LSU both lost
UT won and Mizz lost

UGA vs Ole Miss is the "best" game, but UGA just played at home on CBS this week, and against FL the week before in Jax. Surely they won't return to Athens for a second week and miss out on going to Knoxville next week?

I can't imagine CBS choosing 4 loss Florida vs 3 loss LSU.

So does that mean we get CBS vs Mizz?

If we don't get CBS I fear the worst that we get a night game on ESPN against Mizz.

And if they won't let us play UGA on CBS could we get lucky enough to get UGA as a night game on ESPN?

Vols vs Mizzou 7:00 on ESPN
Vols vs Georgia 3:30 on CBS

Don’t make this complicated
Well clearly it is complicated because it should have beed decided last week 😂 I don't see how anything has really changed. The teams that should have won this week, did.

If CBS takes UGA vs Ole Miss game this week, that will be the 5th game UGA has been picked up by CBS. Unless something has changed that was the limit in the past. That would make CBS not be able to pick Vols vs Pups and would likely mean we get ESPN game of the week at 7pm on the 18th.

Next week would also be the 4th week in a row that UGA was on CBS.

CBS dropped the ball showing Georgia vs Vanderbilt earlier this season

Please be true, so we don't have to endure Danielson again.

Incorrect. TN/Mizz is a 3:30 game so I guess there was more to it than you realized.

Go Vols!

They announced it. TN @ Mizz is 3:30. UGA @ TN is also 3:30.

CBS/SEC TV contract dictated this. They can only show a team up to five times and if they took GA-Ole Miss they would’ve had to give up Georgia-Tennessee, since Georgia has already appeared four times this season.

Vols have a better chance of beating Georgia at home than Ole Miss does at Georgia

Tennessee Mizzou and Tennessee UGA are 3:30.

All 14 SEC teams are in action next Saturday, with Ole Miss-Georgia and Florida-LSU among the headliner games. CBS took the “six-day option” to announce its choice for its SEC game of the week, and selected Tennessee at Missouri for the 3:30 p.m. national broadcast.

Alabama at Kentucky, Noon, ESPN

Vanderbilt at South Carolina, Noon., SEC Network

Tennessee at Missouri, 3:30 p.m., CBS

Auburn at Arkansas, 4 p.m., SEC Network

Ole Miss at Georgia, 7 p.m., ESPN

Mississippi State at Texas A&M, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2

Florida at LSU, 7:30 p.m., SEC Network

The SEC also announced that CBS will air Tennessee at Georgia in the 3:30 p.m. slot on Saturday, Nov. 18. The remainder of the Nov. 18 schedule will be announced Monday.

UGA has already been on CBS five times this year.

You’re right. Maybe the clause no longer applies since it’s the last season, or they worked it out with ESPN to show this weekend’s Georgia game since Herbie will already be there and can call it with Fowler.
