Okay, here are the reasons for a better outlook next year:

1) CPF realizes changes have to occur-brings in Cut and replaces Slade, Stephens, and Washington.

2) Top wide receivers get it worked out-SWAIN, MEACHEM, SMITH, SHELLEY, BRISCOE, and GRIMES (WOW!!!)

3) Crompton sets all kinds of Freshman (Redshirt) records.

4) Ainge rebounds and fills in bigtime from time to time.

5) Defensive backs step it up another notch-WADE, MORLEY, STEWART, INKY, HEFNEY, FELLOWS, etc.

6) HOLBERT and ANDERSON back at FB...BIG!

7) ARIAN FOSTER-'NUFF SAID there!

8) Help from COKER, and JA'KOURI and HARDESTY and YANCEY (Depth).

9) Young, talented linebackers start their own mystique at Tennessee-MCCOY, MAYO, KARL, and MITCHELL as the senior citizen!

10) Defensive tackle turns out to be a bright spot with MCBRIDE, HARRELL, RICHARD, HENDERSON, and BOLDEN kickin' butt!

11) Offensive line slims down to average 290 lbs. and surprises everybody with their play. SMITH, YOUNG, SEARS, SCOTT, etc. get-r-done!

12) LIGON, MCNEIL, and MAYO snap the ball and protect from the center position. (Watch for my man MCNEIL!)

13) WILHOIT has a tremendous senior year and COLQUITT averages 45 yards per punt.

14) The COTTAMs lead a tight end crew that becomes more involved in the offense.

15) MITCHELL and REYNOLDS take care of the DE spot with good support from younger guys making moves.

16) A number of our tougher games are in Knoxville.

17) Attendance averages over 107,000.

18) Hamilton gets his thumb out of his b---.

19) We win at least eight, maybe nine games.

20) And everybody is much happier this time next year as we head to the ____________ bowl with a top ten ranking!

Thank you for your support!!!!!!! Go Vols!

Sanders IS gone after this year.

Don't forget Taylor surreal. He will be a factor on special teams and possibly receiver. He's had a lot of playing time as a frosh...

This year was bad. We don't have that many players getting into that much trouble every year. Every team will have 1 or 2 guys doing something you don't want them to do.

As for Little, he got into trouble AFTER he left UT. While he was here, he wasn't in trouble. In fact, he was one of the good guys.

You post illustrates what weve really got going for us with out problems. We are a young team. We lose alot of seniors this year, but we also have some amazing depth in our underclassmen. Just look at the way some freshman performed this year. Foster, Morley, Inky, Taylor (got some experience even if he didnt perform at times)

THAT IS OKAY WE EXPECT THAT FROM BULLDOG FANS. I LIVED IN FORSYTH COUNTY GA FOR 10 YEARS. YOU KNOW EVEN WHEN I WENT TO ATHENS I SAW MORE TENNESSEE VOLS HATS THAN UGA HATS. IT WAS NOT UNTIL YOU GUYS BEAT US 5 YEARS AGO, THE SUNNY DAY FANS CAME OUT AND BOUGHT OUT THE CAR FLAGS AT WALMART. ONLY TO REPLACE THE GA TECH FLAGS THEY HAD ON THIER CARS. I HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO THE VOLS SINCE I WAS 5 YEARS OLD AND ALL I CAN SAY IS HOPE LSU PUTS ONE ON YA, KARMA DOG. LITTLE MADE SOME MISTAKES IN LIFE AND THAT HAS NO REFLECTION ON THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE OR ANY OF ITS FANS, TRUE FANS THAT DONT JUST WAIT FOR A MARK RICHT OR A HERSHAL WALKER EVERY 15 YEARS OR SO. SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I DONT TAKE YOUR APPOLOGY AS BEING SINCERE.

Chavis thought that we weren't going to drop off much on defense. He said that he thought people would be surprised with what they see next year. He thinks the D line is going to be solid even though we lose a lot and the LB's are going to tough too. That's always good to hear.

My father graduated from UT, as well as my father-in-law. My father-in-law went to Texas in the 51-52 season. Needless to say he is a fan from long ago. To make a long story short, he and his father were attending a UT/ UGA game in the seventies. We were beating them pretty good, and then we scored another touchdown. He and his father jumped up and cheered in the middle of the UGA crowd in Georgia. And all of a sudden an upset Bulldog fan yelled down at them and said"Ah go to hell Tennessee." Then without missing a beat my father-in-law yelled back"We are already here." Anyway thanks for the support and hope you enjoyed the story. Go Vols
