Next years class 2010

With morley and creer gone, how many schollys does that open up for next years class? I know some of last years counted against 08. I believe we are close to 30 with 4 to 6 being against this years class. Does that sound right?

I think you can only sign 25 per year (lol at ole miss) but some will be early enrolees and some will be sign and place (i hope not tho). Our recruiting should start picking up during the season (if we have a good year) and recruits will really start to buy into the Kiffin way.

Sign and place just means that you sign them, then place them in a juco/prep school etc. and hope that they come back to the program once they become academically eligible. Most schools have preferred programs where they send ineligible students.

You can only sign 25 recruits for a particular year, but you can oversign and count back so many to the previous year that would make the previous year equal 25. So if you sign 17 one year and 2 don't make it, then you can sign 35 the next year and backcount 10 to the previous year so you get 25 the previous year and 25 for the current year. Make sense??
