Can anyone shed light on how the COVID year works? Example Jake Rucker is listed as a junior. Could he potentially play 2 more years after this year because of the COVID year? Don’t say he will get drafted and it won’t matter I was just using him as example.

2nd part counting the draft and other factors who will be back next year and who will be for sure gone?

From the lists I've seen of who will be gone...
Rucker
Fergy
Pavs
Leath
Dallas
Spence
Russell

What will be interesting will be with the 1 time transfer rule we could see more than half the starting lineup be guys who aren't on the team now.

So, five of our starting position players and 2 starting pitchers. That's a lot. Hope we have the talent waiting in the wings to replace them. I think many of them would do well to rethink leaving and try to increase their positions in the draft with another year of college ball. I guess we shall see how it all shakes out in due time, just like with Coach Vitello.

Draft ranking much higher for juniors than seniors for those that are draftable. Covid year puts a wrinkle on this if the guys draft status remains junior. Still, something has to give. The rounds stay the same. Two years worth of juniors probably doesn't help your draft status if you are a draftable junior this year. If a guy is late round or free agent worthy anyway, another year might help. Might not.

It's a real difficult decision for guys that aren't a sure first rounder. With so much on the line, I sure hope these guys get accurate information for to make their decisions.

Pretty comprehensive list. With the log jam from last year’s truncated draft and extended college careers anyone that gets drafted needs to go. There is no upside to coming back. You were projected top 5 rounds and got drafted in the 12th? Tough ****, sign. It’s gonna take a few years to sort all this out, and JUCO will be ridiculously good next season in case you live close to a juco program.

Baseball draft is so deep that guys leave even though they are well past first round. They can sign and still get decent deals. Being a senior does diminish your value.

We will have some turnover, but TV is recruiting well, and we will just reload. We will be fine. Someone like Kyle Booker will be able to play full time- he’s going to be good.

Jordan Lawlar or Brady House, who would you rather have? I believe House has the better upside, JMO.
