You'd think I'd know the answer to this myself. but oddly enough, Shirley and I have always sat opposite the Jumbotron and never with our backs to it.

However, we're thinking to hauling a granddaughter and a grandson along for the USU game. Can the Jumbotron be seen from either the upperdeck of the QQ or GG corner sections?

I'd say stay away from QQ. I sat near QQ for the LSU game 2 years ago and hated it.

Try Z15 there are plenty of non taken seats from season ticket holders. You can see the tron very we'll.
Your grand kids will love it

Have a good time

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I'm looking to Vol-ize the grandkids who are Kentucky residents. Especially my granddaughter who is entering her teens now. Been buying her Vol stuff from the bookstore whenever we attend games. The boy is older and showed interest in the Vols recently so I figure it's time to strike.

VOLSGET IT DONE, if you don't mind my asking, why did you hate the QQ section?

Joshbball30, so you can see the jumbotron from QQ?

Actually, I was thinking more of OO and/or PP. A seat in QQ should require little giraffing in order to see it.

Thanks a zillion. I was hoping that was the case.
Now for sure to take the kids to watch my Vols annihilating Aggies. Really thanks! :salute:

Well that shouldn't be too hard of a sell. "1984"
:)

1984, not sure what you mean. I was dwelling in Arizona at the time so maybe it's something related to UT history I've missed. In any case, the kids live in WKU territory but far as I can tell, passive rather than rabid fans. My goal is to contaminate them with an orange blood transfusion. Been my goal for a while but haven't been able to put it into action until now. except by loading the granddaughter with Vol trinkets from the bookstore. She's getting older so it's going to be more expensive just as it was with her mom when she was coming of age. The boy is easy to please. A football with the Power T, orange sneakers, that sort of thing.

Let me reword there not "bad" seats there are just better for the same price.

I like being able to see the tron without turning my head 180 to see every play. First two qrts it's not too bad,
By the 4th you could care less what's up there

The last time KY beat TN.

OK. Thanks. Didn't make the connection for two reasons.UK beat the UT in 2011 so the 1984 year
just didn't enter my head. Other reason is the kids
live in the Bowling Green area and aren't what you'd
call UK fans. Though they rarely talk about or so much about the Hilltoppers, I'd call them WKU fans instead of UK fans. But like I said, they're passive about it. I believe attending something like UT's opening game this year would contaminate them lifetime with orange blood cells and likely an orange brain too.
