People that are so possessive of their seats. It's usually old people. They don't seem to understand that sometimes there is not enough room and you don't have to sit in the EXACT NUMBER of your seat. If there is enough room and someone happens to be fat and I can't move over, just sit your A$$ down.

They are somewhat small, which causes old people to be anal about not sitting all the way in the exact seat they are supposed to be in.

I would think it would suck for the times you have to sit down, i.e. on-field injuries and such

Most everyone is ok with just making due. I know where i sat sat is pretty crowded. I'll be sooooo happy to get over to the season seats for Ole Miss, Plus so much more space under the seats as for consessions etc. I think the heat Sat made it much worse than it really was?
I have an injury where my balance is that of a toddler when trying to step over people and their feet, I got lucky and had isle seats as i do season seats. But the wheeling and dealing down the isle with the vendors and trying to focus on the field really got old Quick!

I like it when the guy behind me and next to me thought they knew more than the couch did, after every play I would here "what the hell was that, Thanks couch really good play, I can't belive some one even hired you," then it would be followed but which play we should have made.

We've got the seatbacks, no problem for us old people not having our space... hahaha .... plus we sit one row back from the students so that tells the whole story, we stand most of the game with our drunk "kids"...hahaha ... we love'um....

You don't quite understand Milo. These people want to sit down the whole game! They paid for those seats and, by God, they're gonna use them! It was amazing the difference on TV between the crowd noise of various games this weekend. Neyland sounded silent compared to others I watched. And I know it wasn't just JP because I've seen it w/ my own eyes.

I get to see one game this season live and that's UGA. I may just stand up the entire game. Either that or I may just sneak into the student section. Come to think of it, that may be more fun :devilsmoke:

Dear lord... I was toward the back of the student section in E, you wouldn't believe how many times those people yelled at us to "Sit DOWN!"

I eventually got mad and yelled "If you don't like it, don't sit behind the STUDENT SECTION." Easy solution...

My only peeve from this Saturday (stadium related anyway), i s the concessions ran out of everything.
I had my son with me.. no sodas, no water, no pizza, no hotdogs..

I eneded up slipping around to another section and getting a soda from a vendor, of course it was mostly water since all the ice had melted.

Our seats were great, and in the shade by the 2nd quarter. In fact, even though they were technically the cheap seats (upper deck) I'd choose that section again.

Our seats are in "G" section, one row behind the students, heck we love it, those guys are hysterical and very friendly... we were the ones trying to get the wave started Sat. but NO ONE would participate...
gosh we're loosing our seats next year due to the renovation so we're hoping/praying they keep us in the same vicinity, maybe over towards to the 50 and down... no one behind us tells us to sit down, they stand up.. we paid good money for our seats plus giving a donation so if the students are up in front of us which is most of the game, then we're up with them... more room, LOL ... gotta love the students.....

Volspeach...

GO VOLS... GO BIG ORANGE ....

I first started going to games in 1985 and to me then as it is now, there is NO place like Neyland. However over the past few years it has gotten gradually worse as far as fan noise and the older fans screaming for people to sit down. PLEASE old folks if you are expecting to sit down for the whole game then please stay home and let us folks that want to stand and cheer and once again make Neyland a place that opponents hate to visit.... IT is NOT a corporate wine and dine IT IS a football game and some of us drive for 6 hours or more to show our pride....

Section B, row 64 seat 21. Last row, plenty of space behind you to put your drinks and you didnt have to walk over everyone to get a drink or get tot he restroom or go smoke. And it was in the shade all day. Best seats I have ever had. And the Pint 1/2 of bourbon helped too.

Well, if you don't know more than your couch does, you might be in trouble. :shades:

The only pet peeve I have is the Wave. It is a plague on our society.

You get to show your team spirit by a modestly timed standing up that goes around the stadium and makes absolutely no noise! Yipee

I hate the wave too. I sit down during them and get funny looks.

Wasn't me trying to start the wave it was the "STUDENTS"... these guys were having a good ole southern intoxicated afternoon in the hot sun and so what about the wave... it got awfully quiet in the stadium someone had to do something to get some "noise" started... remember we didn't run away with the game afterall... :scare:
