i read on here about someone talking about neyland not being loud.... i cant find it now. when i first looked at it i honestly thought " wow this guy is crazy to think that" but once i read it it really made since. I say with 109 thousand on hand which probly will be what the total is saturday... i say WE ABSOUTELY BLOW THAT PLACE APART WITH NOISE. You think about LSU's stadium being so loud and florida and there not near the size we have... i say we get CRAZY LOUD EVERY DEFENSIVE PLAY... You old farts can suck it up for one game.. at the texas A&M game last year i saw a 90 year old lady screamin on her feet.... untill we absolutely dominated... but anyway back to the main point LETS GET CRAZY LOUD!!!!

i feel ya brother....make it loud for UGA on O....make the place shake its so loud....i think it will help not bein as hot late in the game like the 1st two.....i expect some noise to be made

word zurcy and as well.... i have heard people call in on the sports animal and say how pitiful our lack of noise in neyland is. it really is pitiful when you think about it... the way our stadium is, it should be the loudest PERIOD. A Big egg shaped bowl like neyland should hold noise like crazy i think it does so that means for as loud as it has been it could be 50 times more loud! LETS DO IT.

I hate to get on the older folks case. But i am FED UP!

If you are a ticket holder for saturday, this does not include MJX,MJ, who ever it is that posts here?(posts from what he reads,otherwise, he wouldnt have a clue!(favorite words are, inspired,inspire, suck,sucks, hard, blows, milo, mjx, hired, fired, same day.)The old peeps would argue, he'd come back here and swear he was a gangster in the 40's and we'd all die, cause he was president'n

Make enough noise to scare those "We've had seats for 77 years grannies" Empty seats make as much noise as they do! RUN THEM OUT!!!, Sit on your arse, eat nacho's guy, BUH' BYE! :wavey:

The reason, for better or for worse, we are not as loud as Florida and LSU is because they're fans are more liquored up and rowdier. We have proportionlly more old, dignified, sit on their hands fans.

well tell the sit on their hands people its time to get up and yell.....make a claim to why neyland is a tough place to play

agreed, old and not enough alchohol

That has never been a problem for my crew!


It still gets loud under the right circumstances.

The loudest I have heard was during the '98 season at the Arkansas game. That place was rockin during the 4th quarter.

Let's call out all the non-hardcores to get off their duff, and get rowdy. From start to end. Get louder when the defense is on the field. Crank it up when Omar Gaither decleats DJ Shockey. Go Vol wild when Prays Harrelson decks DJ Shockey. I hope Jason Allen tattoo's a receiver, and I see his helmet flying. I gotta go hit somebody now :banghead: , I fired myself up.

If the offense is on, the crowd will go wild. The crowd will be primed, and is ready to see the team meet potential. They are knowledgable football fans.

LSU is loud because everybody is drunk.

Swamp is loud because UM is still in homeymoon phase.

In both places, when the team is underperforming I would venture to guess they struggle to keep the crowd volume up themselves.

I attribute crowd noise to RS. But it ain't the kind of noise that people are talking about on this post. :biggrin2:

i will be loud as well... i encourage people to go and buy those squakers things. They are loud and obnoxvious and i used thtem a few times in recent years. There really cheap but make a ton of noise!!! i will be yellin every play so old people... just get ready!
