The exposure this team has been getting is incredible. Last week on national TV, we heard Todd McShay say that Carvin and Spraggins will play in the NFL. Incredible improvement in this area - just a couple years ago, we had nobody drafted, and now we are talking about a pair of offensive linemen who get almost press.

This has got to be really significant for recruiting. Beyond the "typical" aspirations of playing big time football for a team that's ranked, a lot of these kids want evidence they play for coaches who can get them to the next level.

Does anyone have a list that references potential picks thru Day 3? Off the top of my head, the following seem legit based on how they've actually looked in orange so far:

* Tillman - No debate
* Hooker - No debate
* Wright - Cemented by his work against Anderson yesterday
* Carvin - I'll take McShay's word for it
* Spraggins - See above
* Young - No debate
* Thomas - Enormous, and constantly making plays against ranked SEC teams.
* Hyatt - Breakthrough season
* Milton - All the physical tools. Someone will take a flyer on him even if he never becomes QB1 here.

Others?

The 9 you've mentioned plus Bruuuuu have the makings of a Bama or Dawg annual NFL draft pool.

Coach Heupel is poised to be turning away 6 & 7 star kids. Soon!

...annnnd. Here's a recent mock that has 5 guys going in the first 2 rounds. What a turnaround that would be! 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Hendon Hooker in the top 10, Panthers Replace Christian McCaffrey

Couple other notes:

- They use Hooker in the title to entice readers. His press right now is terrific.

- References the Alabama game in Wrights write up.

- Hyatt going in 1st round.

- At those slots, 4 of these 5 would drastically exceed their ranks as prospects. That reflects well on them, and in the program. Hooker, Hyatt, Tillman, and Young.

- Two other first rounders, Ojulari and Sewell, were prospects we came close to getting. Maybe a season like 2022, followed by a strong NFL draft, will put us over the top for guys like this coming out of high school.

Something that bugs me is seeing our guys achieve on Saturday, then watching the games on Sunday and realizing they're never going to get to play that way as pros.
