with already 6 openings, i wonder how many big time ncaa coaches will make the jump. ive heard rumblings of stoops and ferentz as possibilities. im sure carrolls name will be tossed around. weis would be if not for the big extension he got.

I just hope that Greg Williams isn't ready to take a head coaching job yet because he has that Redskins defense playing some ball. Losing him would hurt.

another one bites the dust. jim haslett former coach of the n. o. saints was fired today, leaving 7 vacant head coaching positions.

Vikes aren't my team but I think Tice didnt rate the firing. The Moss fallout wasnt his fault, but he was left with the mess, and took the blame.

when a team is better without randy moss and culpepper something is wrong. he had this coming. starting last year with the super bowl ticket scalping. then the LOVE BOAT. and the vikes got a new owner and he wants his own guy in there.

I wonder how are the Cowboys feeling about Parcells right now, especially after yesterday. The boy ain't living up to expectations. Keeps bringing all the old worn out has-beens. Reminds me of George Allen's "Ramskins". He did the inexcusable this year.... lost twice to the Redskins, a team that used to fold if you threw a Cowboy jersey onto the field. As crazy as Jones is, look for the TUNA to get CANNED and soon.

I think Tice might catch on somewhere else. Even though the shady stuff may have been his downfall, He did show some coaching savy with the run they had at the end of the year.

I hope Hazlett got a huge severance package. He deserves it after the situation he had. He should be commended for just being able to put a team on the field every game. I think that NO owner is another nutcase like Jones.

Other teams that may have openings for a head coach soon: Baltimore, Cleveland, NY Jets, San Francisco, Tennessee....and if Mora keeps relying on Vick.....Atlanta in less than two years. He's got a better QB than Vick riding the pine right now but I think he's too stupid to notice.

As for my Panthers, I hope John Fox wakes up and gets rid of Dan Henning before next year. His game plan: Davis off tackle for 2, Davis up the middle for 1, Davis around end for a loss of 1, 4th down punt. If RS was the problem with the Vols offense, Henning is a plague infecting the Panthers.

It wasn't always like that my friend. That's a bit of an exaggeration.

I don't have a clue. I found that on a Redskins board. I would love to play an updated version of Tecmo though. I loved that game.

I predict the next one will be Herman Edwards. Any takers?

I can't see how the Jets would do that to Herm... every year he's had his starting QB healthy the entire season, they've made the playoffs. If they had a kicker last year, they would've made it to the AFC Championship game. Pennington's health is the problem for the Jets, not Edwards.
