From what I've heard, Patterson is having some serious academic issues. I'd say he's gone.

I'm hoping Bray and Hunter stick around. It very well could hinge on the new hire.

This is going to sound real bad, but WTH. Maybe someone could lie to CP. When he gets his draft rating, someone could just tell him it said he would be an early 6th round choice. He would believe it. I doubt he could read it himself anyway.

LOL...truth.

I'm not sure he completely grasps the true reality of college for 99% of its students.

Patterson would suck in the NFL right now, unless he is just playing dumb with us. He hasn't improved his route running or knowledge of the offense since he got here. He just relies on being more athletic than everyone else right now. That won't happen in the NFL.

Edit: Just to note, I love Patterson. But he can't cut it in the big league with his lack of commitment(or maybe it's not that, maybe he just can't grasp it) towards learning the offense.

The best thing for Bray to do would be is to stay another year, he doesn't have the maturity to make it in the NFL. His draft stock could go up immensely when we get a good coach and a years worth of "grow the F up".

Cam Newton says you're wrong.

Good grief. You've obviously never watched an NFL combine. CP would impress. You can't teach his raw talent. You can teach route running.

I like CP---he was the most entertaining guy to watch this season for me. If he can learn the nuances of playing receiver (route running mainly) the guy could be something special on Sundays. I could see him being a second day draft pick.

Kiper sees him 12th overall.

+100, I dont comment here very often but had to weigh in on this. Hunter and Patterson both will shoot up draft boards after the combine. Both are athletic "freaks" with the size to be a true #1 on a NFL roster. Scouts will fall in love with the size/potential they both have, could easily see both going in round 1 if they have a solid combine. St. Louis,Miami,Seattle,Minnesota,Houston,Buffalo,San Diego, and Indy all could use a true #1 (or a big play 2nd WR), if they declare they will both be gone by the middle of the 2nd round. I not a homer or drinking the "kool-aid", but every year guys have a strong combine and rise up draft boards (Stephen Hill,Brian Quick, etc) the combine will only help both Patterson and Hunters stock.

CP goes to class, sits in the back, puts his head phones on and goes to sleep. He would have been academically ineligible if we had made a bowl game

yep. CP and Hunter will have some of the top numbers at the combine. Both still need work

Ease up on Patterson. He arrived in August, so he hasn't even had a year in the playbook. He effectively just had his freshman season in college football. Most freshmen struggle enormously in a big time college program playbook. It ain't easy. His JuCo experience doesn't count because he was so athletically superior to everyone else I doubt he learned a thing about the position, because he never had to.

Some guys just aren't cut out for school. Doesn't mean they are dumb.

Let's cheer him on whatever he decides. Glad he was here this year.

Kinda mean. We all have special gifts. Perhaps textbooks aren't CP's strength? But he has gone to class, and he has kept his nose clean. ,I would love for my beloved Titans to draft him. He is fun to watch!

This. If he is able to stay and get his grades straight (because he does have an entire semester without football to improve his grades) then I would love to have him back along with Bray and Hunter. If he goes pro then the best of luck for him and I thank him for donning the Orange and White and only wish he could have witnessed a better year of Tennessee football than the one he got to be a part of.
