what a weekend in the NFL....Dallas got the boot, (yea!!!!!!!!!!!!), ATL got killed by the Panthers, who knew? and TB won the NFC South....

Predictions for this weekend:
NE over JAX--JAX is tough, but just can't see them pulling this kind of upset, if you could call it that, they are 12-4.
WSH over CHI--WSH has just enough offense to out score the bears...close game.
PIT over Cincy--rubber match, and PIT playing as good as anyone right now....
NYG over CAR---this one hurts, but the Panthers have been so jeckyl and hyde this season, they'll play like crap after such a great game against the falcons. Plus Tikki Barber is huge, and i'm not convinced we can stop the run...J. Jones made us look stupid two weeks ago.

oh well...should be fun, can't wait til this weekend....

Nice thoughts, but I think Carolina gets the G-men. Eli is not ready for the playoff tempo jump, and that Panther defense is playing solid football at the right time.

My picks:

Washington over Tampa Bay - Hard pick on this game. But Gruden's dink and dunk style offense won't hold up against the Skins defense IMO, and Washington should put up just enough points to win. Very close game though because of Tampa Bay's defense.

Carolina over New York Giants - I'm writing this as Bill Plaschke is picking New York as a superbowl team... What an idiot. Assuming the good Carolina team shows up, which I believe they will, the Giants will be getting steamrolled.

Jacksonville over New England - Easy pick. Jacksonville rolls. Everybody thinks New England is getting hot, but the Pats offensive line is a MASH unit right now and Jacksonville has one of, if not the most physical front sevens in the NFL. Jacksonville steamrolls New England in the trenches and steamrolls them in the game.

Pittsburgh over Cincinnati - Cincy has had a good run but Pittsburgh is probably the best "playoff-built" team in the NFL.

Hard to pick the 'Skins/Bucs game, but I'll go with Washington since they're hot right now. Come to think of it, Tampa Bay has got it rolling at the right time as well.

Carolina will crush the Giants... I see this as the most lopsided wild card game this weekend.

I'm not going to pick against the Belichick and Brady until someone beats them in the playoffs, and I don't see Jacksonville doing it. This should be a good low-scoring, defensive struggle, but I like the Patriots. Leftwich hasn't played in over a month, and I think the Jags would be better off leaving Garrard in there, he looks just as good...

Steelers over the Bengals... Bengals had a very nic season, and took the next step to make it to the playoffs. I think they could win this game if it was high scoring, because Roethlisberger can't beat anyone with his arm or fragile thumb. Thinking the Steelers will control the clock and keep the Cincy offense off the field by running up and down the field with Parker and Bettis all day. Where the crap is Staley?

My picks:

Skins over Bucs-tough one here. Don't think the Skins will make it to the division playoffs though.

Pittsburgh over Cincy.
New England over Jacksonville -Pats will win here but don't want to see them play Indy.

Giants over Carolina-might be closer than we expect.

It's ok, I'll be back here serving you your crow after that game. :D

Actually, I also think it's going to be a close game. However in the end, I think that the Skins defense will be too much for Chris.

Good question, i was at the Pit/Det game Sunday, and from what i could gather, they deactivated him since The Bus and Parker were healthy, plus i think they wanted to open up a roster spot, but for who? don't know...quincy morgan? there's a lot of questions surrounding deuce though....no one could give me a good answer...
