NFL top 5 picks

I think the Texans should trade that pick... someone out there will pull a Ditka and give their whole draft up for Bush.

Titans oughtta try and get a QB like Leinart or Cutler.

The Texans should definitely trade. They need solid O linemen, not another stud skill position player. Reggie Bush would look better than D. Davis back there, but not game changing better.

I could definitely see the Saints trading not only that #2 pick but probably also their 3rd round pick and a veteran to get Bush. Bush in New Orleans would certainly get some fans back, and would be a good fit in that offense.

I agree. Running back is the least of Houston's problems.

1. Houston Texans... Reggie Bush

2. New orleans Saints... Matt Leinart

3. Tennessee Titans... D'brickashaw Ferguson[or trade down]

4. New York Jets... Vince Young

5. Green Bay Packers... LenDale White

I think the Titans should go with Young, but they''ll probably trade down.

By the way, not taking Bush when you had a chance to get him would be a mistake for ANY team...

The Titans do have a history of trading down, but Floyd Reese has always said that if a franchise QB is available you have to take him. They could probably trade down and still get Cutler (Whom I think may have the most upside of any QB in the draft), so I guess we will see.

dan4, put on your Saban cap. Would you trade Ricky W. and your 2nd round to the Titans for Billy Volek?
actually no. RW has trimmed down and has real good speed. In addition you should google some of his interviews, he has a great attitude now, and in the last 6 games he rushed for huge yards. Id come closer if I were the GM) to trading ronnie brown.

I'd take that trade too, substitute Ronnie for Ricky and I'd still be happy with the deal....

If Chow likes Cutler as much as I hear he does, then I'm not gonna argue. But with so little that folks really adore in the 3 thru 10 slots, you've got to be careful that you get your money's worth for trading down. If there's not a good deal that would get you Cutler plus added value[say for example the dolphin deal I mentioned to dan4 above] then stand your ground and pick. I really like both Ferguson and Young at the 3.

I agree, but if there is a situation in which you can pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd rounder and still get Cutler later in the 1st round it could be a great move. You also have to wonder if the Titans may go after Phillip Rivers.....maybe Volek and a couple of draft picks?

If Young goes in the draft, then noway cutler has the most upside than any qb. young could be the next mcnair(when healthy mcnair is a beast) or randall cunningham.

I agree with that, Cutler IMO is a little more of a polished passer at this point but IF young comes out he would have to be the man. I would take either over Leinart though.

Personally I don't want the Titans to go anywhere near Young in the draft this year or next.
