Nice backdoor win Falcons

What specific call that the refs made had an effect on the final score? General incompetence doesn't count.

I was in the stands, so I haven't seen replays of the actual plays since the Georgia Dome was selectively choosing what to show (not unexpected). But the refs didn't have a clue what happened on the Moreno fumble. And I believe there was a defensive pass interference that kept an Atlanta drive alive somewhere in there, that I didn't agree with.

That said Denver got a few in there, and I believe John Fox was intentionally slowing the refs down a bit to rest his defense a little after 4 turnovers. That and he was really pissed.

NFC/AFC battles won't matter much in the long haul. It was a statement game for the Falcons for sure. I'm just not sure if it means much for the Broncos.

I'm getting pretty tired of the replacement refs. Broncos gave them the win, but I don't see how you can miss about 4 PI calls. It seemed that was the Falcons strategy cause they got caught 3-4 times, but kept on doing it probably hoping the replacement refs would miss a few. 3 PIs instead of 6 first down catches is a good tradeoff.

The Broncos just don't have enough reps together. They couldn't run their no-huddle with the crowd noise. This reminds me of the shaky start the Colts had after Manning missed the preseason.

The good news is they made a ton of mistakes and almost had a chance to win on the road against a very good team.
