* Chattanooga's Demonte Bolden becomes Tennessee's 30th USA Today All-America signee and the Vols' 61st PARADE All-America signee. USA Today began naming its All-America team in 1982, while PARADE's team debuted in 1963.
* Today's signing class includes prospects from 12 different states. In Phillip Fulmer's 12 recruiting classes, UT has had signees from at least 10 states seven different times. The most states represented were 15 in 2000.
* Erik Ainge could become the first Volunteer football letterwinner from Oregon.
* Volunteer family ties include Cameron Mayo's father, Bill, who played at UT from 1981-84, and Ellix Wilson, whose brother, Cedrick, was a Vol from 1997-2000. Punter Britton Colquitt joins his brother, Dustin, on this year's team. The Colquitts' father, Craig (1975-77), and cousin, Jimmy (1981-84), both punted for the Vols.
