If you asked Corso, it would obviously be Cal since he said Sat evening that they could still run the table.

It is a big jump from 23 to 11th n one wk, i wish we woulda been like 17 or so, but cal is weak but tn looked the best i've seen them look n years. ainge still scares me but our recievers = wow, backs = good, defense = outstanding as usual, kickin = impressive

are we being overrated again? 11th seems really high for beating a weak cal team.

thoughts?

I'm gonna say no because we should not have been rank down in the 23 spot to start with. I do agree that CAL was extremely overated!

Our offense is clicking and our D is running great even with all the front six turning over from last year. I think 11 is where we should be after CAL. I would have said @ 17 prior.

The writer was Mark Beech, find him on the right. I'm not sure why utfantilidie didn't link directly to the article.
I liked the picture of Cut and Ainge together.............

Hey rwemyss, when are you going to start having live video feeds from the games?:)

When I went there it was Troy Smith on the homepage.

Video feeds, eh? If I had a slingbox and unlimited upload bandwidth, I'd probably oblige! As it is... I can send out what my TV tuner is set to as a webcam feed, but bandwidth is so low, it wouldn't work at all. :p

Just imagine it this way Vader... 100s or maybe 1,000s of Vols trying to watch the same thing being sent out by my little desktop in my apartment... all at the same time! Not happening.

The remodeled staff has taken charge, and through the first game, at least, Ainge and the Volunteers' offense appear to be on a mission. The rest of the SEC had better watch out. In Sports Illustrated's college football preview, I picked Tennessee to finish 8-4. One of those losses was supposed to be to Cal. Whoops. With Air Force coming up this weekend, Tennessee should be 2-0 heading into next Saturday's showdown with Florida in Knoxville. I'm starting to think 11-1 isn't out of reach.

Dang Right:rock:
