What a win, everyone thought UF would come in and dismantle us because of the loss to Memphis, but nope, we showed up and showed the nation what we can do.

I'm excited for the tournament this year, especially if we canplay like this.

No more undefeated teams, Duke, Pitt, and UF all going down today.

Has anyone noticed that we've gotten 2 big wins over 2 teams that are almost always national powerhouses? I wouldn't say bring on Duke, but we might be able to give them a run for their money.....Call me crazy....ok I wouldn't got that far....But we've gotten 2 big wins so far this year......Bruce has our program on the rise as you all see....Oh, and who picked us this morning on College Gameday?

what a difference a new coach can make same talent and alot more wins. our football program should take note. hamilton better lock up pearl for along time before somebody tries and steal him away. pearl is the real deal.

Sparks' three was from RIDICULOUS range... good win for the cats, when they played a fairly poor game.

GO VOLS BABY! They never gave up, no matter what UF gave them, our guys responded.

heck didnt we out rebound Florida tonight. Cant praise Andre enough.. you think Pearl takes asumnu out of the starting line up with andre after stanleys performance the last two nights?

I'm still not completely sold on Andre. He took some bad shots tonight... dunno who coach will give the nod, Andre or Stanley.

Hey Chong! You should have come, could have made it 24,012! :D Greatest basketball game I've ever watched, bar none.

As bad as the football team was this year, I think I would take that... LOL Ok, maybe not... we HAVE to take Vandy both times, and get one of the two from the Cats. By that logic we WILL beat 'bama, which I'll take any day, in any sport, any time.

dont forget we got georgia and usc agian, arkansas, ole miss, and miss state.... we still got lots of games to play...

But the logic only takes the USC and georgia games... those other teams the football team didn't play this year. I was just talking about teams that the football team beat, that I want the BasketVols to beat too. :D

yeah well I am out and on to better things (sleeping) I will talk about how great buzz is tommorrow as soon as I wake up... man do I hope Whitehead and goggans had good seats at the game tonight... They would be locks to have them come to UT after them watching that game in person...

OTOH, I thought that both teams played phenomenally well. Both teams turned it over just 11 times. USC shot 52% from the field, 42% from the arc. Kentucky shot 56% from the field, 50% from the arc. If you want to fault anyone, fault poor defense. It was one of the most entertaining games I've seen in a while.

Thanks again for beating those Gators and bringing the Cats within one game of the SEC lead! :biggrin2:

Lofton's next to last three attempt was from even farther out than Sparks'. Course it was just an attempt, not a make. TBA would've collapsed if he'd made a 35+footer.
