Sorry if already posted, but this is pretty funny. Apparently today the Austin airport paged Nick Saban over the PA......

"The rumors of Nick Saban to Texas just won’t die at the moment, and today, somebody at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas decided to have a little fun with them. One college football fan with a great sense of humor asked the airport to page Nick Saban over the intercom — apparently the airport worker doesn’t particularly follow college football, or just decided it would be good fun to go along with the prank. Of course, people noticed:

Multiple people have confirmed that Nick Saban was paged at the Austin airport this morning. THAT is hysterical.

At #atx airport. Over intercom, just heard Nick Saban paged to meet his car at curb side check in. Hmmm…

Hilarious. Someone (honestly not me) just had the Austin airport page “Nick Saban” to meet his driver out front.

The airport is calling for a “Nick Saban” right now….. Wondering if he’s here to visit Texas?

haha I wasn't saying you screwed up or something just that they changed the story on the link you gave. I agree though. Clearly something is going on and with Brown's reputation, I think he deserves the right to at least have it reported that he stepped down and wasn't canned.

I heard they actually announced "paging Dr. *********", and everyone just assumed it was Saban.

So, the F word (the other one) is now officially recognized as a curse word? It's kinda funny, my buddy is really religious, so he's always abstained from using curse words. The F word was his go-to insult. All these years and he was cursing the whole time. God must be angry

It's not that it's a curse word, it's that it's a deplorable term. I'm assuming the site would block use of the N-word as well.

That fact that you not only used it, but got pissy about it being censored says quite a lot about you.

What does cursing have to do with being religious other than not using the one with God in it? And how does he not consider a slur as objectionable as any other curse word?

Relax, it's a quote from a movie.

He thought it was a sin to curse, so he didn't curse. I've known several people like that.

Lol, He wouldn't curse because it was a "sin" but insulting everyone using other words is perfectly fine?

Well, when I was growing up in the late 90s, it was a completely innocuous term as long as you weren't saying it to a gay person. South Park did a pretty funny take on the whole emergence of it being a curse word in the past decade.

You mean mee krob?

Most people don't realize that the bible nowhere says swearing is a sin, what the sin of curse words are uttering actual words of curse, as in, praying for god to punish someone. It's where we get the phrase from even, asking god to curse someone.

Then Nick Saban has created many, many sinners.

Ohhhh so that's why damn is so offensive to Christians? You are asking God to punish someone/thing to eternal damnation?

(FTR I use that one pretty liberally. It actually makes me feel better when I am mad.)
