Was a 22nd ranked class. Look what Saban's doing now at Alabama. This time next year we will have a top 5 class and nobody will even remember this class.

Also, we still have talent on this current team we have. IMO we were easily an 8-4 team last year, it was just not ran correctly.

People need to calm down. The coaching staff is better and we will play good ball this year and win 7 or 8 games maybe 9 if we can get a break our way. That will set up for a good recuriting year. With Smith commiting today it is off to a good start already. Just sit back and enjoy the ride next year. Fulmer is gone....WE WILL GET BETTER! We have coaches who are hungry and want to prove something.

It will be very interesting to see the # of players that make big turnarounds from year to year...

Actually, Saban was 10th his first year. The ranking you linked at 11th was the year before he got there.

Given that though we still have a higher avg. star ranking per recruit than Saban did in his 2007 class. 3.44 to 3.28, they were ranked higher b/c they signed seven more players.

Scout has his first yr ranked 22nd.
You always use the source that betters your point haha

I don't think that Saban's first class was ranked that low. If I remember correctly, all the news stories here in Louisiana was about how well he did with only a month or so to recruit. I think it was a top ten class. Louisiana folk are obsessed with this guy.

Oh... haha. Well, this past season showed that his class was better than that ranking.

On a side note, Scout seems to be the "hack" service in the business. I like Rivals and Espn.
