Long and lanky, needs bulk to survive the SEC, redshirt for sure.
Odd how his jersey is #8, times two, that's sixteen. Are we re-Peyton Manning?
If we keep all our QBs, and get a decent defense, the Beast of the East's roar will shake the foundations of the SEC and CFB.
I trust the Heup will make sure we Fulmerize our OLs for the future to maximize Yama-Lee-Ava's production capability.
I think Heupel will weaponize Nico very well, as coach seems determined to warehouse stock receivers.

Forget what video it was with Nico in vols boxers lol his coach saying he was gona win the Heisman, had no idea nicos coach, coached Bryce Young.... Guess I'm behind the times

That's how I heard it as well. Basically just repalce the the "i" with a "y" sound when reading his name.

How about we try to stay in th NOW.
Where freshman play when they're good enough and not just redshirting for the sake of it

To a large extent, I concede your thoughts, LittleVol. However, SEC football isn't high school football. Nico's long lanky frame needs only one good hit by an SEC interior lineman, or linebacker for something on his anatomy (or maybe psychology) to break. So I contend that he needs to redshirt and get some bulk. He'll still need a hefty OL to survive. And I dare declare, to the consternation of his haters, JoeMil is not going to let go of the QB position when Hooker leaves. He's going to prove his worth through his remaining two years. It won't surprise me if he drags us into a NCS slot, and kick Bama's rear end along the way. Then in the year 25, 25, Nico will come alive, come alive., and Vols continue to dominate, eliminate, and terminate whoever stands in their way. It's going to be a heil of a ride, in 25, 25.

Regarding a Fulmerized OL, I meant big linemen who can stand up to and hold off SEC level defensive linemen.

Bryce young is small and he started at bama as a freshman. If nico shows he is our best qb we should play him
