NIH Funds $2.6 Million Study to Get Prostitutes in China to Drink Less - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com

The federal government is spending $2.6 million to make sure prostitutes in China drink less on the job.
That's the goal of a five-year study, bankrolled by the National Institutes of Health, designed to help lower HIV infections among China's "female sex workers," who are referred to in the study as "FSWs."
Researchers will visit 100 houses of ill repute -- a whole hamlet of harlots -- to collect data on 700 prostitutes and 150 pimps and madams, referred to as "gatekeepers" in the study's sterile abstract.

Thoughts?

Are drunk Chinese hookers less appealing than sober Chinese hookers? Should we not be teaching their John's (or Joon's in Chinese) to drink more, so these prostitutes would be more attractive?

US government funded researchers to visit 100 Chinese houses of ill repute. Hilarious. Bet there will be some damn good in depth research on some of those trips.

We have prostitutes right here in America that have a whole lot of problems. Why not focus our attention here first?

I guess they figure the prostitutes here have it too easy. Plus most of our politicians have probably sampled most of the domestic brand, why not get some strange?

If I'm not mistaken, this little shindig was sanctioned under Bushie Jr. and his treehouse gang.

and implemented under Obama. I'm not downplaying W's part, but what happened to Barack being a different kind of politician, not into all that government waste and needless spending?

Yet another example of America outsourcing jobs to China... While the American prostitution industry struggles in this economic downturn, the US government is subsidizing the Chinese industry.

When will we say enough is enough, people?
