Didn’t really know which forum this belonged in.

I’m curious if anyone knows what the NIL values are for other sports such as basketball and baseball? It seems a lot of these NIL evaluations for football are readily exposed while I have heard nothing about basketball or baseball. What does an evaluation for a 5 star in basketball look like. Baseball? Burke’s mom posted something about the baseball players just hoping to get enough for tuition, rent and food. I’m not sure if she was being that serious.

Before anyone starts telling me football brings in all the money so the football players get most of it, I know this but I want to know if anyone has any info on other NIL evaluations for other sports. Does the KY’s, Duke’s and FL’s put more money into basketball than TN? I have no idea.

Why would anyone in here know that

I don't know how Florida did it so fast in basketball. But, that team was stacked from top to bottom with athletes size and talent. It's really interesting to wonder what the breakdowns at each school really are. But, it's one of those secrets that the university probably protects heavily.

All I know is that you never see or hear anything but class from our basketball program. I don’t know how Barnes manages it, but he does somehow.

Now, it’s a much smaller roster, and that surely helps.

Barnes deserves a lot of credit for recruiting players that are of good character first.
I imagine we could get to that elusive Final Four if he recruited great basketball players with questionable character.

I found my info trying to find out if basketball, like OSU football last season, had teams with the highest paid rosters making it to the final four. As I could not find any team data, I got the feeling the NCAA may have put a lid on that kind of data being publicized now.

Men's basketball $$$$ are being used effectively and efficiently. There's a reason Vitello and Heupel love Barnes other than his high character traits. I should have said "in addition to his high character traits". He's a freaking role model for dedication to his profession, his energy in doing it and the message he sends to his players
