I'll definitely grab one. I haven't bought a Nintendo console since the Gamecube, but the Switch 1 undoubtedly had some great games. I honestly was waiting for Switch 2 basically from the day the Switch 1 released because of how underpowered it was. This will likely still be underpowered but if it can improve the graphics and framerate of Switch 1 games, it will be a no-brainer.

Its hard to compare but what's being said is when docked, the performance will be somewhere between a PS4 Pro and Xbox Series S. But it also has some kind of DLSS rendering baked into it, which may allow for more headroom. That's not bad and if you're like me, you're basically buying it to be a Nintendo 1st party machine anyway, which they always optimize their games to perform well on their hardware.

Wow, the leaks were pretty spot on! The early renders are very close to the official design!

I like the design. It's a good balance of derivation and innovation.

Definitely looks cool. We will certainly get one. We even got the OLED when it came out, on top of the OG.

Oh yeah, I platinumed it! I loved Astrobot! Did you complete all of the added time trials and the holiday bonus level? Those are all great as well.

I just finished everything except 2 time trials. Hopefully can knock those out this weekend.

I will start adding videos of launch titles, as they are confirmed. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond will undoubtedly be a launch game, so I went ahead and added it.

Interesting. I have a Switch somewhere in my house, may try to find it. Breath Of The Wild was a good one. Haven't tried Tears Of The Kingdom, but may have too before the Switch 2. Any official release date?

Its a great game! I'm hoping Nintendo patches it to run and look better on Switch 2.

All they’ve said is sometime in 2025. Probably late in the year to take advantage of Christmas shopping.

Supposed to be a Nintendo Direct in April about it, my guess is final date is announced then.

TOTK is awesome but it’s jam packed with material. It makes BOTW look like a short game by comparison. It will take hundreds of hours if you want to do everything.

80.00. The 90.00 price was miscommunication over USD/Euro prices. Not that 80.00 is much better, but I wanted to clarify and it's not 80.00 across the board. It's only for select games. So far only Mario Kart World is priced at 79.99 but if you buy the Switch 2 bundle its 30.00 cheaper.

Upgrade fees are nothing new. There are several PS4 games that received significant upgrades on PS5, that also included additional content, and Sony charged 10.00 for each of them. I bought several and they were all very worth it IMO. I dont think this is anti consumer at all. You can still play the old versions if you don't want to upgrade.

Oh and Nintendo has delayed the April 9th pre order date so they can further evaluate the tariffs that the US is imposing on Taiwan. So this thing might get even more expensive.
