This. Last year we overloaded on the 3 stars because recruiting was going kinda crappy. I'm not saying it's a good thing that we didn't get any commits today, but I think it's a sign that the staff can afford to be more selective.

I'm beginning to think the Title IX cloud took more of a toll on last year's recruiting than a lot of us let on.

When you include the Drae Bowles inflammatory allegations which were apart of that, it probably did. The competition was comparing us to Baylor. We also didn't start with a lead for very many players last year and had already lost Higgins by July 4th.

Austin Price said he wouldn't be surprised if we had no booms on Friday's podcast. Most of the guys are blue chips and blue chips usually just don't jump in the boat this early.
