The police, nor the FBI, can find any evidence of the supposed Foley drunken dorm incident...

So have the rumors for the past few years been made up? This is not the first time this has been brought up. This has been something floating around DC for quite a while.

I've heard this too. Surely this can be verified easily. Either there was an incident and the police were called or there wasn't. If the police were called and it was kept hush, hush and no report was filed, it probably gives the House Leadership an out.

Which is more than likely what happened if it happened.

That's what I'm thinking too.

Drunk guy at the dorm . . . Cops get called . . . whoops it's a Congressman . . . cops just diffuse the situation and pretend it didn't happen.

Central Intelligence Agency reports, collaberated by English, French, and Russian intelligence services, are rumors? Good to know.

Well, they certainly weren't facts. If they weren't facts and the weren't rumors, what were they?

Just because WMDs were not found en masse, in Iraq, during or after the invasion does not mean that they were not there prior.

not to mention the fact that sarin and mustard gas has been found in large enough quantities to kill thousands. parts of rockets have been found in scrap metal shipments.

and one thing that's always bothered me is that weeks, possibly months, before the war started, we were overflying Iraq with U-2 spyplanes. Saddam complained to the UN and the US was ordered to stop the overflights. who knows what he was able to smuggle out during that period.

Considering the case that was presented to the world both through speeches and even in the UN, I'd say the enormous stockpile we claimed and the aging shells we found were distant in reality.
