One thing I want to commend Coach Harper on thus far this season is the apparent absence of drama. She stated herself that she “doesn’t do drama” and it appears she was being true to her word. Post game pressers are about basketball again and not about feelings. Holly was constantly having to answer questions about players’ state of mind instead of their on court performance.

We had constant drama the previous 3 seasons and there were tons of articles being written speculating what the problems were. All last season the team was engulfed in drama.

If there has been any drama so far this year, like the Horston incident over the summer, it’s been dealt with internally which is amazing. So nice that it seems the program is back to focusing on basketball, school, getting better and winning.

How nice for our players that stuck with UT to get to experience a more mature and positive culture. It seems the team really gets along well and their body language looks light years ahead of what it was last year.

Bravo Coach Harper!

recognizing her post game conferences have questions asked to try and expose drama

her post Georgia game comments included - reiterating that every action by staff is Intentional and building relationships/team is a daily intention. Then with a rye facial smile and deliberate pause she continued -we have a team of 24-18 year old young women. and she added - women from different backgrounds and experiences.
