We sorely lack playmakers and the coaches cannot put the few we have in position to make big plays. This team has no pop. At all.

I think we DO have some playmakers, but don't know how to use them! This team is just soft and lacks heart and grit.

Agree OP. With the possible exception of North, he is a playmaker.

We don't have a single guy that would have started on any of our teams from '95 through '01.

It's kind of hard to tell if we have any play makers because the offense is uber conservative. These guys make Fulmer, Cutcliffe and Sanders seem like June Jones or Mike Leach.

More so than getting into arm chair play calling...down 21, I just don't see urgency. 2 minute drill, 4 minute drill, up tempo, where is that in our game plan?

I did like that Dobbs carried the ball more today, but that's about the only "new" thing I saw, other than that silly, high school, attempt at a throw back pass that got picked.

On the other side of the ball, blame speed if you want...Our safeties played horrible, the tackling is worse, and the fact that the coaches didn't change the defensive front until the last 5 minutes or so in the 3rd Qtr. of the game points to poor coaching (it worked btw).

Then there's the coverage units on ST's...as bad as any performance during Dooley's tenure imo.

Call them slow but don't leave out ill prepared.

We lack explosive play calls. Bajakian makes me long for the Randy Sanders days.

so the usce and uga games count for nothing in your book

I don't know if this was intended for me or not...I think it's fair to look at some of the staff on the defensive side of the ball and say this:

They are very experienced at defending pro style offenses, look at where they have come from.

Sure, we beat SC and yeah it counts for something, but look at how we've looked since.
