Arkansas defensive backs Kamren Curl and Ryan Pulley have been suspended for the Razorbacks' final regular-season game against Missouri on Friday after the two were seen socializing with members of the Mississippi State dance team prior to kickoff on Saturday.

A local reporter said he saw Curl and Pulley taking photos and talking with members of the Bulldogs' spirit squad during pregame warm-ups. Arkansas lost the game in Starkville, Mississippi, 52-6.

Joakim Noah spent a good part of the 2006 national title game flirting with UCLA’s cheerleaders on the baseline.

Arkansas, this is why you can’t have nice things.

I’m sure the UCLA cheerleaders were thrilled with that thing flirting with them. Lol

As the story goes, one particular UCLA cheerleader called him ugly before the game...truth is truth...and as he continued to abuse UCLA on the court he kept winking and pointing at the cheerleader who called him ugly.

As long as the didn't say or do anything inappropriate I don't see the problem. I went out for pregame warmups and shoot around for our conference title game and smiled at a cheerleader against our biggest rival and we wound up dating for over a year. Haha. Pissed off the other teams players something awful when I showed up at a party with her a couple weeks later.

There has to be more to this story... I refuse to believe that "flirting" is unacceptable behavior. Something is missing.

I think it's more of a statement than anything. I mean earlier this year we had players complaining that fans were being mean to them as they were joking around on the sideline while being blown out by North Texas.

Our players and Bert culture are just very soft. Morris would probably sign 59 players instead of 29 in this class if he could. The past month the defense has looked like they weren't giving much effort at all.

Let the boys be boys.
There's a time and place for it and it isn't on the football field when your suppose to be warming up. You let it go on and then you have 5 guys doing it. Then the next game you have 10. Best to cut it out before it starts. A game suspension may be to harsh but I'm not the coach.

I vividly remember the night Thompson Boling Arena chanted Noahs Ugly as the Vols won the game. Lol I also remember him with that cheerleader in the game too. Lol

They posed for pics with the dance team. Totally not acceptable but definitely not at 2-8.

Once you go out to prepare for the game, it should be business till it ends. If the coach hasn’t made that clear to everyone by the 10th game, shame on him. Frankly, I think the buddy/buddy bull$hit between coaches before the game is a little much. Maybe a handshake or something, but to stand and cut up doesn’t send a consistent message to your players. “Never saw Bear hug up on the opposing coach before the game!”
