No love for Calipari in Memphis!!!!

My wife and made our annual trek to the River City to see the ATP/WTA professional tennis tournament and usually stay at the Doubletree Hotel adjacent to the Racquet Club. When we went down to eat breakfast in the hotel restuarant, I noticed the name had been changed from "Cal's" to another name. I asked the waiter what happened to the name of the former Memphis head coach. He said that they got the sign and all of the Calipari memorbilia that used to adorn the walls and put it on a boat and took it out in the middle of the Mississippi river and set it on fire.

Memphis fans are really mad at Cal for recruiting a #1 class to Memphis and then bailing out and taking the players with him. Not to mention Xavier Henry who left for Kansas.

We took their coach, we took their players, and we left them screwed. Only Beale Street and criminals.

I was talking to a Memphis guy the other day while in Tunica and his take was he couldn't blame the guy considering the money offered. Besides he'll probably join the Nets again and take Wall with him especially after we win this weekend. I hear the NJ owner has a ton of money. Stay tuned.

No, there are MANY other reasons most of us here hate X with a passion, all having to do with what he did before he left. The man is a thief, liar, scumbag, sleazy used car salesman who cheated on his wife with more than one woman, tried to cram Barbee down our throats, spit on our major boosters, lied to the fans days before he left, and continues to trash us every chance he gets. Just read our board for all the details.
And there are PLENTY more. Ky got what it deserves. The karma train is coming for that evil one.

His lovely wife also took advantage of a clause in his contract to use up his $30,000 clothing allowance at an elite men's store the day before he left like a thief in the night. Low class family, very low class.

All the Memphis fans I know can't stand Tennessee but were joyed over watching Tennessee take Cal down Saturday.

Wow, you must be really on the inside. I have never heard a lot of those accusations like the wife cheating, booster spitting and U of M trashing. I don't think I need to read Memphis boards to know what's happening around here unless I was interested in delusional ramblings.

All facts. Many people in Memphis know it. If that makes me on the inside, then so be it. And KY will soon find out some of the man's proclivities.

I think they lost to Tony Barbee that was getting crammed down their throats by Cal. I like Josh. We'll see how he does.
