I think if our offense would play like a offense from a NAIA team then we wouldn't lose another game. I wouldn't trade our defense for any other D in the country.

I think you'll see the Vols offensive output increase dramatically the remainder of the season. In the Vols first 6 games, 3 opponents hold opponents to less than 100 yards rushing... and the 4th (Georgia) only allows 109 (up after playing Arkansas). However, none of the Vols remaining opponents give up less than 119 ypg (Notre Dame). And ND is even that good because they are 114th in the nation in pass defense (307 ypg). Overall ND is 97th in Total defense.
The Vols first 6 opponents collectively give up an average of 113 ypg rushing.. The Vols next 6 opponents give up an average of 153 ypg rushing.

Not only that but UAB was the worst defensive team we have played so far. Every other team is in the top 25 defenses in the country.

It's a simple game. You throw the ball, you run the ball and you catch the ball.
How can we possibly think that we will roll into Southbend without a quarterback, a running back or an offensive line that knows to watch the ball and move when it moves and give them a whipping? We will be lucky not to walk out of there without our tails between our legs. I am not trying to be negative, I am just being realistic. If there were a game for our offense to show up, it happened last week.
Let's concentrate on SC because I have a feeling it is going to be closer than you think.
GO VOLS!!!!!
