Why was there no public parking for the game tonight?? Talk about a hectic situation for my wife and me trying to find a random place to park then get crammed onto a bus. We had to walk 40 mins after the game to get to our vehicle,
Did anyone else have issues with parking tonight?
Worth it tho, great game, great win!! GBO!!!

There was a play at Clarence Brown Theater and a concert in the music building as well as the basketball game.
it was kinda frustrating not gonna lie.. we always park at Peyton manning pass, next to Neyland and they told us their was no public parking, and to park over on Joe Johnson hwy across the bridge.. I’m still not sure where we ended up lol we jumped on the bus and it was so crowded and hot on that thing!! No way I was gonna be a sardine again so we chose to walk back to the car.

Glad you got to see it. (I know nothing about parking though). Hope you were in Neyland Oct 15. That's a good "toofer"!
Sadly no!! I wish I could’ve watched the football game!! We’re getting Georgia tickets this year tho!! So hopefully we get to do that same thing to the puppies!!

UT recommends Ag Campus, plenty of parking and free shuttles
Thank you!! I’ll keep that in mind for next time. I wonder why the parking next to Thompson wasn’t public tonight? It’s usually a fee and you get to park. someone did mention there was a concert n musical tonight too tho. Maybe that was it?

I usually park west of the baseball stadium behind frat row if I don't have a pass.

No help from the City of Knoxville in putting police persons at the well known intersections leading to campus that bog down for the big basketball games. City is the biggest tax recipient from UT Athletics, but have turned a blind eye to the traffic thing, although they are trying to shut down the beer vendor and beer sales in Neyland Stadium, but that is such a Knoxville sideways thing.

They never do. Some of the traffic lights to get onto or across Cumberland Avenue after games are timed to let about 5 or 6 cars through when dozens are lined up. The city collects more money in sales taxes when cars sit in long lines idling.

Don’t get me started on taxes.. just reading y’all talkin bout taxes made my blood boil. I haven’t changed my tax information at my job from 2021 to 2022, but somehow I owe 1400 dollars this year?? Ridiculous how much they are having me and everyone pay to break even on your W-2s. With that extra money, like y’all are talking about, Knoxville should be better at the traffic situation and parking for the vols games. Think how much revenue us the fans bring Knoxville.. you’re telling me they can’t make improvements in regards to this area ?? No way, they’re just lazy about it.

AG campus is the way. Easy entry and exit next to the interstate, quick bus ride to the arena, but small spots, so don’t drive the truck.
