No reason Neyland

Should not have the same atmosphere that the georgia game did regardless of it being fall break or not. The team gave their all and gave all of us something to cheer about and for with their effort against georgia. GO VOLS!!!

it did make a difference at least once last night as georgia had to burn a timeout because they couldn't hear or communicate.

I was proud to see the fans take back Neyland Stadium...Looked and sounded like the glory days!

It was loud. You can pack the stadium without being loud, but they had it rocking. I saw Georgia assistants cover their ears in one shot of the sideline. I heard Murray say he hated it and he and the team were bothered the whole game. It made me feel so much pride.

That's the loudest ive heard that place since the 4th quarter of the 2006 Alabama game. This team may not win another game this year, they may win the rest but as long as they give that effort every week I'll be there in my seats louder than the week before

Maybe he should send out an email en masse to the student body. It may reach more students that way than saying it on a radio or tv show.

**Caveat: I am long removed from being in college, so maybe he already does this. I don't know. A current student on this board may be able to shed some light on how he communicates with the student body. :hi:

I have felt same way. I feel that was the turning point last night, where a fan base fell in love with their team. I think fans will show up and be ready after last night. I think it's a new season, honestly. I still hate how it ended, but I wish we didn't have to wait 2 weeks to see these guys again. Beat USC and it. is. on.

They do that occasionally. Last year they did it for a couple football and basketball games, sometimes getting players to email a "letter" to the students urging us to come

I hope Neyland is 10 times louder when SC shows up in a couple weeks!! I bet it will be after the close GA game. Fans should be super pumped!!!!
