One interesting tidbit from Joey Hazle's press conference earlier this week is that we did not start the UF game in a silent snap count, instead we switched late in the first quarter. This seems unusual to me. Watching the FSU-Clemson game, and FSU has been in a silent snap count the entire game. Isn't this the norm when you are on the road in a hostile environment? It seems unusual that we aren't implementing a silent count for the entire game when we are the visiting team. Given our difficulties traveling on the road the last few years, seems like developing a really good silent count system would be an easy way to address our pre-snap penalties and communications problems.

Not sure what the minute count is but the press conference is only 8 minutes long:

Hee hee…they decided after several possessions in a night game at the swamp against an sec opponent that they should use a silent snap count? He probably shouldn’t have admitted that.
