So much for being the upper crust of conferences. No repercussions for fighting on the players-what a joke as I said in another post they are looking like the upper crust of the south end of a north bound mule.Big 10 fined both schools $100K but said they would not suspend any players. Clearly did not want to harm buckeyes chances in CFP. Unfortunate since they are likely to be Vols opponent.
Yeah suspensions was the only way to send a message. Bothe universities can send 100k$ easily. Unfortunately the B1G knows suspensions only hurt one of the schools. Suspensions from a playoff hurt. Suspensions from a Bowl game that loads of players opt out of nowadays anyways isn't hurting Michigan much at all.Big 10 fined both schools $100K but said they would not suspend any players. Fight after UF game in 23 - UT players suspended
Jimmy Callaway throws a punch - suspended
Rashaan Gaulden throws punch against UK - suspended
Burton hits a girl - No punishment
Dozen tOSU players punching players/media - No punishment
Some schools and coaches put "winning" above teaching players how to be responsible for their actions.
Big 10 has no control over those two schools, as they are nothing without UM and OSU. NCAA has no control over Big 10 as they’re the only thing keeping the SEC from owning the sport. The SEC fined Tennessee 250K for the fans throwing of mustard et al on the field.
Big Ten needs to do better. This was the actual football players.
