How the hell do you not call a freakin timeout with 15 seconds left in the game? We just shot a 3 when we were down by 1 freakin point! Im about done with ut bball this year.

At the end of the game on the last possession. A shot from Goins is not what we wanted. How many games have we lost on the last possession from not playing smart?
all 5 defenders were back well before we got down there. give me a break. yeah, if we have a chance to score it in transition, hold the time out. But it wasnt even freakin close.
This is true. Also, had we called a timeout the shot might not have been that good of a look. I'm thinking Bruce would have drawn up a 30 footer by Harris as the last shot.
I've had this conversation a million times, but everyone seems to think a coach can magically make a play call in a TO and get a great shot when, in reality, it's much easier to get a good look in the flow of the game. Name me a time when a coach set up a great play out of a TO to win a game. I can name 10 defensive stops for every one play call out of a TO.
We called TO's earlier in the year and got the same damn shot. What's the difference? It's the pg fellas. Their pg took it to the hole the last 5 minutes. Goins didn't get within 20 feet of the rim.
