14-13 final UVA wins

UVA - Va Tech next week is now for the division, a trip to the ACC championship, and a possible BCS berth

not too bad for a rivalry game at the end of the year

Crazy stuff: UVA will probably sneak in to the top 25, and in their last game of the season control their own destiny to make it to the ACC Championship with a win over VA Tech.

Which ACC team would we be lining up to play if we were in the Music City Bowl?

Miami?

Them, NC State or possibly UNC depending on how the remaining games go. UNC has Duke left which they should win, Miami has BC and NC State has Maryland which are should-but-not-for-sure wins.

at the moment still needs some sorting out from last 2 weeks, but just some general ranges on bowl opponents:

Music is ACC#6 - NCST, Miami, Wake Forest...possibly UNC

Liberty is CUSA #1 - either Houston (if they don't make a BCS bid) or Tulsa/Southern Miss

BBVA Compass is Big East #5 - Pitt, Uconn, USF

Just went through and looked at everybody's remaining games. Assuming VA Tech beats UVA and Clemson, Clemson loses to SCjr and VA Tech, GA Tech loses to UGA, FSU beats UF, Wake Forest beats Vandy, NC State beats Maryland and Miami beats BC...

Also, some assumptions of pick order based on fans ability to travel, since that would leave three pairs of teams with identical conference and overall records.

I think Wake Forest would finish in that sixth slot with a Music City Bowl bid.

Playing Houston would be a fun challenge, and it would be nice to give them their only loss. But I don't like the idea of giving up 73 points

People: we face the potential reality of a Virginia-Rutgers Orange Bowl. May God help us all.

An official statement released by the Orange Bowl today about the prospect of having Rutgers and Virginia play in their bowl game:
